Whether you’ve raced through the woods on a Honda FourTrax or enjoyed family outings in a Polaris RZR, your vehicle has created unforgettable memories. However, as life changes, sometimes these cherished vehicles end up collecting dust in the garage, waiting for their next adventure.
By donating your ATV, UTV, or Side-by-Side, you can help us support worthy community initiatives in Seattle. We accept a range of off-road vehicles, from robust Yamaha Grizzly models to versatile Can-Am Commanders. Your contribution will not only benefit others but can also provide you with a tax deduction. How pickup works
Pickup for your ATV, UTV, or Side-by-Side is simple and efficient with RideRebirth. We often utilize a small flatbed truck or trailer for transportation. If your vehicle is off-road only, a title might not be necessary; a Manufacturer's Statement of Origin (MSO) and a bill of sale will be appropriate documentation. Our team will coordinate with you to schedule a convenient pickup time, ensuring a seamless process. Whether your vehicle is tucked away in a storage lot or parked at your ranch or hunting cabin, we’ll handle all the logistics to make your donation as easy as possible.
What drives donation value
The value of your donated ATV, UTV, or Side-by-Side can vary significantly depending on several factors. Generally, vehicles that have high hours of use rather than mileage are preferred, especially for 4-stroke models. Popular models like the Polaris RZR and Can-Am UTVs tend to have strong resale values in the used market. Well-maintained equipment with comprehensive service records can command a premium, while vehicles with cosmetic damage or faded plastic may see some discount; however, a vehicle that runs well can still fetch a higher donation value. If your unit is non-running, don't worry—many parts retain value, making your donation still beneficial.
Documentation you need
- Title (if available)
- Manufacturer's Statement of Origin (MSO) for off-road vehicles
- Bill of sale documenting the transfer
- Service records, if available
- Appraisal (IRS Form 8283 Section B) for classic vehicles
Seattle specifics
Seattle operates under specific DMV regulations when it comes to off-road vehicles. Many ATVs and UTVs used solely for recreational purposes may not require standard titles but instead can be transferred with a bill of sale. Washington State recognizes the importance of outdoor recreation, and as such, vehicles like yours contribute to that culture. By donating your ATV, UTV, or Side-by-Side, you’re playing a role in supporting community events and initiatives that keep our outdoor spaces thriving.
