↗Real impact, real numbers
Your contributions translate directly into meals for families in need. For example, a $1,500 vehicle can provide about 15,000 meals at a partner food bank, while a $2,500 vehicle equates to 25,000 meals. As our distribution network grows more efficient, your donation will continue to scale, enabling us to maximize our impact and serve even more individuals facing food insecurity. Imagine the difference your generosity can make—transforming your vehicle into countless meals for our community!
How we vet recipient partners
At RideRebirth, we ensure that our partner nonprofits adhere to strict accountability standards. We prioritize organizations that are affiliates of the Feeding America network, maintaining high standards for transparency and efficiency. We also look for entities rated 4 stars by Charity Navigator, with overhead costs under 10%. We review Form 990 submissions to confirm at least a 90% program service ratio, ensuring your donations are directed toward impactful food programs.
How proceeds flow
After the sale of each donated vehicle, approximately 70-80% of the gross proceeds reach our partner food banks, minus tow and processing costs. This net amount is then subjected to a program ratio, ensuring funds are allocated effectively towards their food programming initiatives. Your donation not only helps cover operational costs but also drives the mission of these essential organizations forward.
