How we vet recipient partners
We take the integrity of our partner programs seriously. To ensure high accountability, we prefer to work with Area Agencies on Aging-contracted providers and members of Meals on Wheels America. These organizations adhere to federal and state accountability standards and meet the nutrition standards established by the Older Americans Act Title III-C. Our rigorous vetting process guarantees that donations are directed to programs with no waiting lists or only very short waiting lists, indicating their capacity to serve effectively.
How proceeds flow
When you donate your vehicle, approximately 70-80% of the gross proceeds will reach our partner programs after tow and processing costs. These funds are allocated according to a program ratio, ensuring that each dollar is used effectively to support the senior meal programs, maximizing the impact of your generous contribution.
